The BBC has revealed the title of the Doctor Who Series 7 finale - it is The Name of the Doctor. . The episode, written by Steven Moffat and stars Matt Smith, Jenna-Louise Coleman and Alex Kingston. Here’s a synopsis of the story :
“Someone is kidnapping the Doctor’s friends, leading him towards the one place in all of time and space that he should never go.”

Don’t do it Moffat. Doooon’t do it.

 And dammit, River Song is back. Why is she back?

If they actually gave him a name, maybe the fandom would collectively declare it to not be canon?

I do sort of imagine the fandom generally disregarding it or thinking of some way to make it less icky.
